Seems like I'm doing book reports this week.
Been listening to a lot of Metallica and Megadeth. Must be the RnR Hall of Fame thing they're doing. I'm stoked that their music has held up so damn long.
I just got this from the publisher.
Norma Vee Toraya wrote one of the coolest books on paper puppets and how to make them. She also asked me to contribute a PUPPET of my own. It was a great experience. I got a chance to try something different (not a rock poster coughcough) and got amazing response because of it. I'm screwed cuz I wanna do more paper puppets now.

Damn! Here's another tattoo Jesse got based on one of my posters. Eventually I'm just going to have Jesse walk into the art director's office and introduce him as my "Portfolio"!
I made a deal with him, if he got a sleeve done based on my artwork that I'd design the other sleeve for him. Looks like I got my work cut out for me.

I'm posting this here first before I send out a formal email on Friday to the people on my mailing list. Giving you guys first chance at some of the new prints. Also an opportunity to help me test the functionality of the site.
I'm happy to announce the newly renovated website and online store. Sure... it looks the same but the site now functions better and the online store is FINALLY open after 5 months of hibernation. There are new ltd edition art prints available along with some of the old. The site is much easier to navigate and you can now pay by credit card when you check out. CHECK IT OUT HERE Orders will ship weekly unless my assistant loses her mind and quits. She hasn't yet.
So check it out and let me know what you think and if something needs fixing. |
